Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. She attended the private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. Ward attended Ouachita parish high school for secondary education. She then moved to River Oaks High School the summer following her senior year. Following her graduation she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling at the age of thirteen, leaving her school to move in New York. A few years later, she decided to also try her hand at acting. The first time she was cast without credit in 1970s in the soap-opera All My Children. Later, she was cast in the NBC's prime-time drama for teens, Malibu Shores. In late 1996Ward got a job in the soap opera daytime Sunset Beach where she portrayed the romantic Meg Cummings. She began her film career, starring on The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film, which was at first a failure financially in theaters, but later on video-on-demand (VOD) it became extremely well-known. Ward played a part as a character in Shallow Hal in the year that followed, and played a supportive role. Ward has appeared in several direct-to-DV films in addition to having been a guest on several of television shows. The most notable is Friends. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of an unnamed gymna in on the ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It being a part in the principal cast during the series' first two seasons. She married David C. Robinson, who was a producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
