Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is an actress, singer, songwriter and musician from Ireland. Corr first made an appearance in 1990 as her lead vocalist in The Corrs, a Celtic folk and pop rock group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish singer musician songwriter and actor. She was awarded her Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is well known as part of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. She sings and plays several instruments in The Corrs. Andrea began her professional career as an actress in the year 1991. Later, she became a musician and stage artist. She sang in the playback of Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is the owner of six studio albums under her credit. She also has two compilation albums, four live albums and the mix CD. She has also received recognition for her charity work. Andrea is married and has two kids to her stockbroker. Andrea began her lessons in music with the Tin whistle. Gerry taught Andrea to play the piano. Andrea can also play the ukulele. Her musical abilities were developed in her teens. She practiced with her siblings before eventually gaining the title as the singer in charge of the group. Andrea took part in numerous plays at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
